The former body of the company was Jingwei Textile Machinery Stocks Co., Ltd. which was solely invested by China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., established based on Jingwei after capital and debt reorganization in Aug. 15, 1995 and was registered in. Taiyuan High and New Technology Development Zone. As a Sino-foreign joint venture authorized by China Foreign Economic and Trade Department, the company owns the rights of import and export. Besides this, after capital and debt reorganization, Jingwei has established four subsidiaries---Zhengzhou Hongda New Type Spinning Machinery Co., Ltd. And Hongda Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. Separately located at Qingdao, Shenyang and Tianjin, and become a large corporate group with the combination of science, industry and trade, cross-regional business and complete sets of cotton spinning equipments. After increasing the listing of A stocks in 2000, the company has owned 603.8 million stock shares.
