Incorporated in April 1996 with RMB 290 million in registered capital, UTCOM obtained approval from the State Development & Reform Commission in July 2006 for their mobile phone license. Subordinate to UTCOM include Bagualing Manufactory, Shenzhen CYCOS Electronics Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Mangrove Industrial Product Dimensional Design Co., Ltd. And Shenzhen Xielisheng Electronic Products Co., Ltd. With 10, 000m2 standard factory buildings and 5, 000m2 standard office buildings, UTCOM is equipped with a full range of state-of-the-art SMT production lines and standard product assembling/test lines as well as a complete product quality assurance system. Currently, UTCOM has an annual mobile phone production capacity of 3 million sets. UTCOM invested heavily in importing mobile communication product development and test (including RF, digital, analog, environment and reliability test) equipment from USA and Germany, and has robust capacity in proprietary development, design and quality assurance.
