In The Early 80′s, Guiness Decided To Re-Focus Back To Their Core Business And Offered The Group For Sale. By This Time, Jackel Had Grown Substantial In Size And Difficult To Be Sold As A Whole. It Was Eventually Parceled Out Through Individual Management Buy-Out. The Usa Operation Came Under Hasbro And The Brand Became Tommee Tippee Playskool And Later, Playskool. Jackel In Uk And Australia Continue To Market Under The Original Brand Although Both Companies Are Independent Of One Another. Others Followed The Same Direction Or Changed Their Names.
