1, What this product does?
A powerful VoIP Analog Telephone Adapter with Router function
G502N, which has two FXS port , one LAN port and one WAN port, is one of the most popular VoIP ATAs researched and produced by FlyingVoice. This product can not only provide two SIP lines for users to make calls, but also it is a wire-speed NAT router, make you enjoy easy network atmosphere. What's more, G502N support T.38 real time FAX and T.30 FAX with G.711.
G502N is a stand-alone device, which requires no PC to make Internet calls. This ATA guarantees clear and reliable voice quality on Internet, which is fully compatible with SIP industry standard and able to interoperate with many other SIP devices and software on the market.
2,what is the Basic use of G502N?
1) Connect a analog telephone to G502N's FXS port, register an account and make calls;
2) Connect a FAX machine to G502N's FXS port, register an account and send FAX;
3) Connect other device to G502N's LAN port to use G502N as a router, G502N has two work mode: NAT
and Bridge.
3,How to Configure G502N?
There are three ways to configure G502N: use IVR, use provision and use WEB GUI, recommend is WEB GUI. And you can configure only some parameters through IVR, like WAN port IP address, WAN port IP mode, Subnet mask and so on. User presses **** to start IVR, and the IVR will lead you to configure. Every time you finish some changes, you may need reboot G502N to make the changes take effective. Details about IVR, please refer to G502N user manual. Provision is also a convenient way to make configurations, to get more information about provision, please refer to provision user manual. And you can configure all the parameters of G502N through WEB GUI, login to G502N's webpage, then you can begin to configure.
