China National Erzhong Group Co. (Former The Second Heavy Machinery Plant, hereinafter abbreviated China Erzhong) is situated in Deyang, a heavy industrial city on the west plain of Sichuan province. It is one of the largest heavy machine-building bases and the machinery localization bases for the very important mechnical equipment in China.

China Erzhong was built up in 1958, and put into production in 1971. It covers a total area of more than 2.9 million square meters, and now it possesses 6 branch works, 6 full capital subsidiary companies and 6 holding subsidiary companies, with the total assets about 3 billion Yuan (RMB). There are more than 12000 employees in this company, about 2400 of which are engineers and technicians, and professional administrative personnel.

So it can produce 600 tons of super purity liquid steel at one time,400 tons of high quality ingot, 400 tons of high quality casting, 200 tons of high quality forging. The machining capability for the heavy duty complicated parts and components can be performed as well. It also has the transportation capability from 40t up to 400t by means of road, railway and water.
