MZB, recognized as one of the leading accessory companies, has been designing and manufacturing some of the world′s most renowned timepieces for over 55 years. In 1950, Michael Zachary Berger and Joseph Mermelstein had a vision to create quality watches and opened a small showroom on 37th Street opposite Lord & Taylor. Several years later Joseph Mermelstein, took over the business and expanded the company by selling watches to large corporations and retailers. In 1970, his son Bernie Mermelstein joined the company and proceeded to grow the business by adding new brands & licenses, focusing on product innovation and expanding into new channels of distribution. Under todays leadership, the company has grown into one of the preeminent timepiece and accessory manufacturers in the industry today.

MZB remains a family owned business and is privately held. With more than 250 employees and offices in New York City, Arkansas, Canada, Hong Kong and satellite office across the country, we ship over 25 million timepieces a year. Over the years our reputation for quality, being on top of trends and commitment to our retail partners has grown. This has enabled us to take our company to the next level by expanding into new accessory categories. MZB now has four separate divisions: Watches, Clocks, Accessories, and Personal Care.

In each division, MZB continues to design and manufacture products that meet our uncompromising standards of styling, technology, and quality. And we continue to be creative and aggressive as we collectively work with our partners to extend their marketing efforts and message to retailers and consumers alike.
