This is the hottest 5MP camera module we sell. It uses the OV5640 sensor from Omnivision.The OV5640 has an image array that can work at a speed of 15 frames per second, with a resolution of 5 million pixels, to complete the user's control of image quality, formatting and output data transmission. All required image processing functions, including exposure control, gamma, white balance, color saturation, hue control, defective pixel cancellation, noise cancellation, etc. are programmable through the SCCB interface or embedded microcontroller.The OV5640 also includes a compression engine to increase processing power. In addition, the OmniVision image sensor uses a proprietary sensor to improve image quality by reducing or eliminating common lighting/power sources to improve image quality technical pollution, such as fixed pattern noise, smearing.
