Gas Water Distribution Filter Brick Denitrifying Deep Bed Filter Brick

The overall S-shaped filter brick is made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) material, which has excellent structural strength and toughness. After the installation of the filter brick, it operates for 20 years without maintenance. The filter brick is a double-layer water and gas distribution system: a first stage distribution chamber and a second stage compensation chamber. The backwash water passing through the first water distribution chamber generates reverse compensation in the second water distribution chamber according to the pressure difference, so as to achieve uniform overall backwash water and air pressure on the entire filter area. The internal secondary water distribution design of the filter brick ensures that the backwash water and gas are evenly distributed at each diffusion hole of the entire backwash gas-water distribution system of the filter. The gas and water are evenly distributed within one filter brick, without any blind spots in water and gas distribution, and there are no dead zones in backwash.

The filter brick used in the denitrification deep bed filter is an S-shaped filter brick with secondary water and gas distribution. The function of the filter brick is:
   1. Provide solid structures to support gravel and sand;
   2. Prevent gravel from entering the water distribution system;
   3. Minimize the damage of hydraulic shock to the internal components of the filter as much as possible;
   4. The filtrate is discharged smoothly through the filter tank;
   5. The distribution of backwash gas and water flow in the entire filter bed area is uniform, ensuring that the filter material surface is flat after flushing;
   6. Separate the backwash system from the biological reaction system to avoid biological blockage in the gas water distribution system.
