Zhongke Yian medical technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Was established in April 2010. It develops high-end implant/interventional material and medical device. The company adheres to innovation, safety and pragmatism development concept. Since its establishment, the company has established active research and technical cooperation with the biomedical materials research and development group at Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has successfully developed high nitrogen nickel free stainless steel drug-eluting coronary stent, YianCore. Compared with similar products at home and abroad, YianCore stent has unique advantages in metallic material. Currently, the company has a state of the art full-flow production line from cutting, polishing, drug coating, stent system assembly to packaging and sterilization.
This stent metal platform is made of novel high nitrogen nickel free austenitic stainless steel, named BIONFSS, independently developed by Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS). This material has excellent plasticity, fatigue resistance, local corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
The research is evident that substitution of nickel (Ni) by nitrogen (N) can provide more stable austenite structure and can effectively avert the sensitization and teratogenesis like hazards from human body caused by the release of Ni ion in traditional stainless steel.
Since the beginning of 21st century, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the support of national project, has taken the lead in the research and development of this new medical stainless steel material in China aiming at the potential harm of nickel to human body.
In addition, the mechanical properties (strength, hardness, fatigue performance, wear resistance), corrosion resistance and anticoagulant performance of the material are superior than 316L stainless steel and L605 cobalt chromium alloy which are currently widely used in clinical application.
